ELP - Emerson, Lake & Palmer

I got into progressive electronic rock music early in the 70's, I always dug the big sounds that were orchestrated. Headphone music for sure. I'm still a big fan.

I had the wonderful opportunity to see ELP in concert down at Princeton college in like 1979. I went with a really tall, cute guy whose name now escapes me. I remember though, he was an airplane mechanic at Teterborough Airport in NJ and he had a lava lamp in his apartment in Lodi..gee, you would think I'd remember his name....but alas, I don't. Funny how I remember the lava lamp though..lol what can I say??

I love Prog Rock too. Especially "Yes". But being a hetero male Pug, I'm not too crazy about songs where the organ is too dominant.

So it's ELP's ballads that I prefer (i.e. - From The Beginning).

And like you I am also reminded of someone. In my case, a cute female who managed to escape. They may still be looking for me on that deal. Whew!
