Young Americans David Bowie

JC I LOVE this record (yes to me they will always be records and albums)

1975..I was a senior in High School...listened to this album 1000 times...I mean what can be better.. David Bowie, David Sanborn on sax..John Lennon is even on it..

It totally rocks, it totally grooves and of course we all knew every word of The title track..

Good God it doesn't get much better..I'm diggin' it.

Check THIS out......it's so sexy sexy sexy!

The Beatles Rubber Soul

The Beatles Rubber Soul 1965. Let's see I was 7 when this album was released. I suppose I learned most of these songs when I got older.. In My Life is one of the songs I would include in the soundtrack of my life (If I were ever to put one together) Of course Michele is beautiful and I do remember when that was on the radio as a child.

I appreciate the folk-rock songs like Think For Yourself and The Word definitely has unmistakable LOVE theme of the 60's. I think perhaps we should bring that back. What the world DOES need now is love.

Peace

The Legend Of Johnny Cash

The Legend of Johnny Cash

Tonight I shared KP with my daughter. She enjoyed Johnny and June. However she rolled her eyes pretty good whan A Boy Named Sue came on...cuz..I knew all the words! Explained to her that his last song HURT is a Nine Inch Nails song. Yes I constantly impress her with my vast knowledge of pop culture....NOT. :-)

C'mon sing along:

Well, I grew up quick and I grew up mean,
My fist got hard and my wits got keen,
I'd roam from town to town to hide my shame.
But I made a vow to the moon and stars
That I'd search the honky-tonks and bars
And kill that man who gave me that awful name.

Well, it was Gatlinburg in mid-July
And I just hit town and my throat was dry,
I thought I'd stop and have myself a brew........

One of these days I go ahead and put an entire song on here..
