After dinner is done and it's my night on KP duty...I love to pop a CD into my Bose Wave and lose myself in the music while I engage in what is usually quite a mundane chore. I find that while listening , dancing, and singing to my favorite music...I actually LOOK FORWARD to this task. My family clears out because I usually crank up the volume to 50+ and I ALWAYS listen to the entire album.

leelee, love this song, love your site, and hendrix is the second best ever . . . your site, though, wow . . . the only one we've seen with solely music recordings . . . so inspirational . . . well, we write to ask how to put our music recordings on a blog (sans video) . . . will you please let us know how you've done this? We want to do it right the first time . . . Thanks a bundle . . . Eric and Gina. . . mnhsr@lycos.com . . . p.s. we live in south florida as well . . . and have lived in the antique capital of the nation . . . adamstown, pennsylvania . . . we prefer it here. ha ha ha ha . . . thanks again . . .
wow thanks folks..what a nice comment. I use hipcast.com to upload my audio files..it's a subscription service..but ya know...I think my blog is worth it.
It's easy and works well with blogger. Check it out.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
PS: Ideally, summer in Adamstown, winter in South Florida..now that would be perfection! :-)
Hendrix, Van Morrison, it's a summer of love dude!!!!!!!!!!
Tupelo Honey is my favorite.
Gotcha covered..look at the post again...it's there!!
Love it too!!
Thanks, that was nice. I am listening to the Monterey Pop CD as I write this. Great CD. Seems as though I was born at a time where I was always too young to be part of the really cool movements. Damn.
you must be "roughly" my age..I feel the same way. But even though I was 10 when Woodstock happened...I still appreciated the music..and the movement, even at that young age.
The music was great what really pissed me off was I missed all the sex and drugs. Doggone hippies ruined it for everyone!!
well to be honest...I made up for all that in the late 70's and 80's...I got my share in...lol
what can I say? I'm nothing if not honest!
I have the ALBUM. The love scene from "An American Werewolf in London" to this song made me want to become a werewolf. Arooooooooo!
Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon???
Phosgene Kid, actually it was the song "Moondance". But "Werewolves of London" also works. Aroooooo!
