I like the Chili Peppers. Living in "The Great Southwest", I am required to. And I LOVE funk too.

I'm assuming that you're familiar with their earlier stuff, if not, check out these songs sometime ...

Knock Me Down (a favorite of mine)
Show Me Your Soul
Breaking the Girl
Love Rollercoaster (their version)
Give It Away
Under the Bridge
Otherside (I'm sure you know this one)

Tjis is the first CD of the RHCP I have purchased...I have no idea why, I've waited so long. I am a fan..

Give It Away is the only song I recognize from the titles you've listed, but I'm sure I know them all (seems I've inflicted some damage to memory brain cells in the 70's & 80's , which is usually remedied by hearing a few bars of a tune)..I'll check the others out..there is a greatest hits CD out now as well, that might work for me.

Yes, the greatest hits cd ("What Hits?!") will have KMD, SMYS, and UTB and other good songs on it, but the others that I've listed are scattered across multiple albums.

Or if you are daring, you can do the following ...

Here's what you also can do (it's what I do). Download a program called "Limewire" (free) from www.download.com.

Once you've installed it, you can find virtually any song you can think of off of the Internet. If you have dSL (like I do on weekends), you can quickly amass quite a collection.

And of course burn your own cds.

If you really like the artist / album, then of course it's best to buy the cd.

true..I am a bearshare fan...probably akin to your limewire, which I often download from. I have super fast cable here at home, so I just may spend some time this weekend, perusing RHCP songs. Thanks!!
