After dinner is done and it's my night on KP duty...I love to pop a CD into my Bose Wave and lose myself in the music while I engage in what is usually quite a mundane chore. I find that while listening , dancing, and singing to my favorite music...I actually LOOK FORWARD to this task. My family clears out because I usually crank up the volume to 50+ and I ALWAYS listen to the entire album.

I've never heard of Chigago.
Okay, just teasing. I LOVE Chicago. Beginnings is a great song. I especially enjoyed it during my Reefer Madness days. The drums in the outro are mesmerizing.
Ha..P....I just saw your comment come in an edited immediately...oops :-)
It IS a great song and I don't care WHO knows it..
You like the same music as me..that's cool
:-)
I like the picture too. Chicago, I think, is still around, hitting the road every two or three years.
Pretty good memories attached to the tune...
E_R...these are the songs from the soundtrack of our lives aren't they? I know they tour..I don't know how I feel about seeing them now though..I don't know why..
Glad you like the picture :-)
leelee you be me musical angel. Me no joking. You seem to be able to post a tune that me not be thinking of, but needed to hear. Chicago were me very first concert in Central park. Went there with a friend; long lost now. We shared a smoke, climbed a tree and chilled out to an incredible show. Thanks for the return to a time when me still climed trees.
kisses & stomps
P.S. you look fabulous in the picture, Jersey girl.
Scary..
I guess if you come to check this page often then you have the same taste in music as me and the other regulars who frequent this blog, thanks for being part of my small but loyal group. I'm glad the song brought back happy memories for you. It did for me as well.
MY first concert EVER was at Wollman Rink in Central Park at the Schaefer Music festival. We saw Don McClean when American Pie came out. The warm up act was Bill Withers (another favorite) A wonderful memory for sure..I'm fairly certain we sat in the seats though ;-)
Ok now check this out...this will blow your mind:
