For Phos and Puerileuwaite
After dinner is done and it's my night on KP duty...I love to pop a CD into my Bose Wave and lose myself in the music while I engage in what is usually quite a mundane chore. I find that while listening , dancing, and singing to my favorite music...I actually LOOK FORWARD to this task. My family clears out because I usually crank up the volume to 50+ and I ALWAYS listen to the entire album.

Thanks! "Drinking pina coladas at Trader Vick's with Oriental women" - Got to love it!! Then there's Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner...
Hi! Yes, I haven't heard that in a long time..search for that tune on youtube..there is a performance from the David Letterman show..excellent!
Excitable Boy, Lawyers, Guns and Money. Wonder where he is today.
What is funny is seeing a writer/singer you like on TV and finding that they are nearly fossilized. That happened to me when I saw Tom Waits on The Daily Show.
:-( He passed away in 2003 from cancer..
He was innovative..
Hi Leelee, Yes he was very innovative, I liked his stuff. Keep on rocking.

Hey Phos...

Bet they were howling last night. Yukon came out to see what was up, but not a peep out of him. Both pups were unimpressed with the eclipse and thought we had gone 'round the bend standing outside at 3 in the morning.
haha...I bet they thought you were loco..lol
this song was inadvertantly timely wasn't it..
Ok time for a new one..perhaps tomorrow..
What's new with U??
Hi Phos...well greetings from Savannah GA. Hubs, daughter and I are headed up to NC to visit our grandkids..so I'm a bit out of the loop with the tuneage. Have a great weekend!!
Doing the civil war tour?? I'd like to get out there and visit some of the revolutionary and civil war sites. Have fun!!!
P- you are most welcome my puggly one..
Phos...it's really interesting, you should make a trip one day. As we headed North today we passed the Tuskeegee Airman Museum in Walterboro, South Carolina. We didn't get a chance to stop, but I thought of you.
Cool!! War related stuff really interests me, probably because of my past life.
I wish I was in the land of cotton, old times there are not forgotten, look away, look away, look away Dixieland!!
The Bonnie Blue Flag, maybe???
